What to expect
Our feline friends still benefit from physiotherapy and hydrotherapy the same as our canine companions. Species does not discriminate from orthopaedic or neurological conditions, with many conditions affecting both dogs and cats. Although the conditions may be similar, cats and dogs are very different and we recognise that they require treatment to be tailored to them. Therefore our treatment approach is the same for both dogs and cats, working with the individual animal and owner to design a bespoke treatment programme just for them - although sometimes we have to get a bit more inventive with cats!
Our appointments follow the same process as that detailed on our rehabilitation page, working with the individual cat as to whether hydrotherapy is utilised as a treatment modality to support land based physiotherapy.
